    As part of the Jamaica Forum for Public Art Otherwise, Queens-based artist Shervone Neckles presents the first in a series of three Wellness Activities that accompany her exhibition, Steeping Memory, at the York College Arts Gallery in Jamaica, Queens. At this first activity, fellow Queens-based eco-artist and educator Elizabeth Velazquez will guide participants in an exploration of plant propagation with herbs like lemon balm, oregano brujo, and mint for self-care and healing. This event is part of the Jamaica Forum for Public Art Otherwise initiative with SPCUNY.
