Grief & Cyanotypes

This project explores grief, community, and healing through socially engaged art, centering cyanotype as an accessible, collective medium. Emerging from my background in grassroots organizing and arts education, the work invites people to create collaborative cyanotypes as rituals of remembrance and kinship. Rooted in grief theory and social movement traditions, the project asks how art can hold space for loss while fostering connection and resilience. By merging personal narrative, ancestral practices, and participatory processes, I aim to build a framework where grief is not silenced but honored, transformed, and shared as a vital element of collective liberation.
