Bronx Community High School Mural
I have been working with students as a Teaching Artist across several school sites in Manhattan and The Bronx. My pedagogy is rooted in an understanding of world-building as a vital source of affirmation and connecting language. Drawing, writing, and printmaking experiences ask students to reckon with their real and imagined landscapes.

Bronx Community High School, June 5th, 2024 10:30-11:30 AM: Unveiling
The unveiling of the mural at Bronx Community High School will be a gathering of students, their families, and community members to engage in a conversation and celebration of the English as a New Language class and their artistic labor and exploration. Snacks can be expected, as well as a reading of the collaborative poem which inspired the composition of the mural.
