The O Commons is a new mutual aid network for immigrant artists and cultural workers. We are coming together to share knowledge, resources, experiences, and creative practices around the realities of making art and building a life in the United States.
At this launch gathering, we will:
Share stories, experiences, and immigration resources
Exchange practical knowledge and support
Connect with other immigrant artists and cultural workers
Create short artistic responses to documents, objects, and memories from our immigration journeys
Bring a document, object, or memory from your immigration journey if you would like to share it through a short creative intervention—a monologue, performance, visual artwork, installation concept, or another form.
