A Quilt for Now

Fall 2017-Present

A Quilt for Now is an ongoing project that incorporates patchwork quilting, crowd sourced responses, performance and hands-on workshops. The project collects answers to questions about safety, threat and everyday decision making in order to better understand catalysts for political polarization in America. This project has become the framework for community-focused programs in a range of settings, from workshops with Native American Elders in Oklahoma to a performance at Figment Festival on Governors Island to a guided conversation with CUNY Psychology faculty.
